With Giuseppe passing in 2003, his son Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni assumed leadership at the turn of the new century. After spearheading the conversion of the estate to organic viticulture, already marking Querciabella as one of Italy's pioneers in the space, and transitioning to all plant-based operations in 2010 to better align with their core values. As Querciabella celebrates their 50th vintage the legacy of the Castiglioni family securely rests in the hands of Mita Castiglioni, sister of Sebastiano and eldest daughter of Pepito. They remain steadfast in their dedication to crafting exceptional wines imbued with vibrancy and character, while preserving the harmony of nature's delicate balance.
