Collection: Querciabella

Founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, a global entrepreneur and passionate wine lover, Querciabella was born from the vision of bringing world-class winemaking to Chianti Classico. From the pioneering release of Camartina in 1981 — one of the very first Super Tuscans — to the debut of Batàr in 1988, the estate has consistently set new benchmarks for innovation and quality. Today, under the stewardship of Giuseppe’s daughter Mita and her children Andrea and Selene, Querciabella remains true to its founding spirit while continuing to shape the future of Tuscan fine wine. A trailblazer in sustainable viticulture, Querciabella has farmed its vineyards organically since 1988. The estate now encompasses about 95 hectares of vineyards across Chianti Classico and its coastal property in Maremma. What began as a commitment to environmental responsibility has evolved into a broader philosophy: true sustainability lies not only in method, but in balance. Our practices go beyond certification, focusing on tailored, low-impact approaches that respect the natural ecosystem and its rhythms. In this way, we craft wines of depth, precision and distinctive character — authentic reflections of their origin.
