2023 DuMOL "Estate" Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

One of our most limited production wines – a mere nine barrels each year – our Bressay Estate Chardonnay is one of the pinnacles of our winegrowing efforts each year. This tiny jewel of a vineyard parcel is surrounded by the coastal aromatic redwood forest on a steep slope and planted with vine cuttings from Hyde Vineyard. It’s a wine full of substance and pedigree that’s completely specific to this location—that’s why it’s so special. 

Soaring multi-dimensional aromas and flavors that call to mind cut grass, waxy citrus, sweet sage, beeswax and fresh root ginger. It’s an intense powerful wine that rides the line between concentrated richness and pinpoint focus. Deep satiny texture is balanced by whistle clean acidity. Rising saline notes combine with lime juice and toasted almond on the long echoing finish. Unique and spectacular. Drink between late 2025 and 2033.
