1996 Ronchi di Cialla Ciallarosso

Ciallarosso is a traditional blend of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino, it wonderfully combines the structure of Refosco and elegance of Schioppettino. A powerful but elegant wine suitable for excellent aging thanks to its tannins and acidity. It is perfect with white and red meats, and vegetable-based dishes. 

1996 was generally a warm vintage. Rich and broad wine, good tannic base and dark fruit.
